This photograph shows the spitoons on the floor of the lobby of the Stanwix Hall Hotel over 100 years ago. |
| This photograph shows a spitoon on a fragment of tile floor discovered during monitoring of the construction. Both were in the hotel when it was torn down in the 1970s. The top of the spitoon broke off, probably when the hotel was torn down, but the base is still intact. | ![]() |
